Maurac/Vignes de Cabaleyran

Along the "route de Cabaleyran", on the top of the hill, this is where the Cabernet Sauvignon must stretch its roots to tap into the lean and draining gravelly soils. It results  a deep and almost spicy wine. Aging in barrels of 1 or 2 wines is at least  16 months to give the wine time to establish itself.

Appellation : Haut Medoc

Grapes: 40% Merlot, 60% Cabernet Sauvignon

Surface:2ha

Plots: "La Croix", "Le Moulin", "les 130", "la Cabane"
